Hisense TV remote app: start with the TV operating system

Hisense TVs do not all share one software platform. Before choosing a phone remote, look for VIDAA, Google TV, Android TV, Roku or another system on the TV’s information screen or in its model documentation.

Match your Hisense TV to the right guide

VIDAARead the VIDAA notes below and the compatibility table.
Google TV or Android TVFollow the Android TV pairing-code guide.
Roku TVFollow the Roku network-control guide.
Fire TVFollow the Fire TV guide; it needs ADB debugging turned on.

Product names and platforms vary by region. A model family mentioned online may not match the version sold in your country.

TV Remotely with Hisense VIDAA

TV Remotely supports remote control on VIDAA TVs; app launching and media features depend on the model and model year. Menus and authorization differ between VIDAA versions, so there is no single sequence that fits every set.

Turn the TV on, put the phone on the same local network, select the TV in TV Remotely and follow the prompts that appear. Some VIDAA TVs show a PIN to enter in the app. If an authorization error appears, note it with the model and VIDAA version rather than applying settings meant for another operating system.

Hisense TV is not discovered

Check that the TV is online, the phone is not on an isolated guest network and the app’s permissions are on. Use the discovery checklist. Entering the IP address manually can help with discovery, but it cannot add support for an unsupported platform.

Can I launch every app or use the keyboard?

Not on every model. VIDAA app lists vary by model year, and text entry depends on the TV app and field. Test basic navigation first, then the specific command you need. See phone keyboard troubleshooting.

Lost your Hisense remote?

A phone may help if the TV is already connected and you can complete authorization. If it is offline or has been reset, read the lost-remote guide first. Check app availability, and send the model, platform and failing step to support if needed.
