TV Remotely lets you control compatible smart TVs on the same Wi-Fi network as your phone. It is an independent app: it is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Samsung, LG, Sony, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hisense, Vizio, or any other TV manufacturer. All product and brand names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

TV manufacturers change their control protocols without notice, and some models, firmware versions, and network configurations do not support remote control at all. We cannot guarantee that the app will work with your particular TV, and a TV that works today may stop working after a firmware update.

Use the app only with TVs you own or are authorised to control, and only on networks you are permitted to use.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

Reports and replies you post on the support board are reviewed before they appear, are then public, and cannot be edited or deleted by you afterwards. Before your first post the app asks you to agree to the community rules.

Do not post abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexual or violent content, spam or advertising, or anyone’s personal information. Keep posts about the app and your TV.

Posts that break these rules are removed, and people who post abusive content are blocked from the board. You can block any poster in the app, which hides their posts and reports them to us for review. To report a post, contact support@tvremotely.com.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These terms may be updated; the current version always appears here with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
