Troubleshooting
Restore your original TV home screen after a cleanup
If an Android TV cleanup changed Home, recovery depends on what was changed and what the pre-change record captured. The first goal is to regain Settings and the original Home without losing Wi-Fi or input control.

Identify the failed state
Is the TV showing a blank Home, reopening the old Home, or still reachable through Settings? Record the model, firmware and the last action. Keep the physical remote nearby and avoid repeating disable commands while you diagnose.
A Home problem and a network problem may have different causes; do not factory-reset as a first response.
Use the matching restore record
Clean Your TV documents a restore tool that replays the original package and Home states recorded before its workflow. It also says packages can sometimes be re-enabled from Settings when ADB is unreachable. Use the project instructions for your actual list and current tool version.
Do not paste a launcher package name from a different model; the stock Home can differ by Android version.
Verify recovery fully
After restoring, confirm Home, Settings, HDMI/live inputs, Wi-Fi, casting and both physical and phone remotes. Reboot once and repeat the key checks. Keep the restore log with the model and firmware for future troubleshooting.
If the original record is missing, the project documents a fallback that may enable an entire list rather than recreate each prior state. Review those effects before running it; contact the TV maker’s support if Settings and ADB are both unavailable.
