TV setup
Connect Android TV to ADB over Wi-Fi
ADB over Wi-Fi connects a computer to a TV only when the TV enables debugging and approves that computer. Android 11 wireless debugging can use a pairing code with separate pairing and connection ports. Older or vendor-specific TV builds may use a different network-debugging flow.

Check prerequisites
Put the computer and TV on the same trusted local network, note the TV model and Android version, and install current Android SDK Platform Tools from Google. Find Developer options using the TV maker’s instructions; menu names vary. Keep the TV screen visible for its authorization prompt.
Do not expose ADB to the internet or leave debugging enabled when finished.
Pair and connect using the TV’s displayed values
If the TV exposes Wireless debugging with a pairing code, use the IP address and pairing port shown on that screen with adb pair, then use the separate connect address and port with adb connect. The pairing port is not automatically the connection port. Confirm the TV asks you to trust the computer, then use adb devices to verify the device appears as authorized.
If the TV offers only vendor ADB debugging, follow that model’s documented flow; do not assume port 5555 is open or secure.
If the device does not appear
Check that both devices are on the same local network and the TV has not changed IP addresses. Guest Wi-Fi or client isolation can block direct traffic. If the TV says unauthorized, handle the prompt on the TV; repeatedly connecting from the computer cannot approve itself.
When done, disconnect the session and disable wireless debugging on the TV.
