Can Claude Code customize a Samsung or LG TV?
A Claude Code prompt cannot turn a Samsung Tizen TV or an LG webOS TV into an Android TV. Android ADB package commands and Android launchers do not apply to these platforms. Useful changes are the privacy and home settings the TV exposes for its exact model.

Why Android tutorials do not transfer
Samsung Tizen and LG webOS use different operating systems and developer tools. A project’s Android package list cannot be pasted into their settings or run over Android ADB. Even when a platform permits developer app testing, that is different from disabling the built-in home screen.
Confirm the About screen first; some TV brands also sell Google TV models, but Samsung Tizen and LG webOS are the scope here.
Practical Samsung privacy changes
Samsung documents an optional Viewing Information Services choice associated with Automatic Content Recognition on supported Smart TVs. Find the privacy choices available on your exact model and review what each one affects. An opt-out changes the specified data use; it does not necessarily remove all home promotions.
Use Samsung’s current support text and on-screen description rather than an internet-wide menu path from another model year.
Practical LG path and recovery
On webOS, use the TV’s own privacy agreements and home options, checking the model manual for exact labels. Record each setting before changing it. If the goal is a different streaming interface, an external HDMI device may be a clearer option than undocumented service menus.
Do not follow Android package-disabling steps on Tizen or webOS.
