Vestel Smart Center remote: identify the TV before pairing

Vestel’s official TV Smart Centre app requires a supported TV on the network, the TV’s Virtual Remote setting enabled, and the phone on the same Wi-Fi. This is the documented Vestel app path; TV Remotely’s Vestel-family behavior is not physically verified in this project.

Confirm Smart Center support

Record the full TV model and software. Some televisions share Vestel hardware or branding but expose different menus. Check the model manual or Vestel’s app listing for Smart Center support before assuming a particular remote protocol.

A TV that only displays a different app ecosystem may need another manufacturer guide.

Follow Vestel’s own prerequisites

Vestel’s app listing says the TV must be online, Virtual Remote must be on in TV settings, and the phone must share the same Wi-Fi network. Open TV Smart Centre, choose Add TV and select the set if it appears. The older Vestel manual describes selecting the TV name from a list.

Menu labels and available functions differ by model; some app functions are limited to supported TVs.

If the TV is absent

Check the TV’s network screen and Virtual Remote option, then look for guest-network isolation. Reopen the official app and retry Add TV once. Record the TV model and menu path before contacting Vestel support.

Do not advertise TV Remotely as a tested Vestel replacement until a real model is paired and its controls are checked.
